The Salomon Speedway Splitboard is a dream for backcountry enthusiasts. Its backseat camber design offers explosive turns and excellent control, making it a joy to ride in powder. The lightweight Ghost Green Core ensures you won't feel weighed down on those uphill climbs, while the sintered base provides a smooth glide in all conditions. However, if you have larger boots, the narrow waist might be a bit snug. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for intermediate to advanced riders who crave adventure and performance in the backcountry.
The Salomon Speedway Split Snowboard is a board designed with the intermediate to advanced backcountry rider in mind. With camber under the back foot and a directional shape, this board has explosive turns, as well as good powder float from flat segments under the front foot. This board has a stiffer more responsive flex, and is very stable at speeds.
Key Features:
- Backseat Camber – With camber under the back foot and a flat section at the nose, this board can be driven explosively from the back, with the flat to rocker section at the front providing float when conditions are deep.
- Ghost Green Core – This core is made of light paulownia wood, which is very lightweight and provides good pop and snap.

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski.
