The Tour Edge "Hot Launch" E522 Ironwood is a great standalone hybrid/long iron replacement for those who don't get along well with long irons or traditional hybrids. At the top of most iron sets, folks are left with a few options. They can stay with a longer iron (when those are offered) or go with a more traditional style hybrid or higher lofted fairway woods, or even a utility iron. This ironwood provides a 5th option and is geared for those who perhaps prefer the less 'chunky' look of a utility iron, but just don't have the confidence or skill set to use one. These clubs have a healthy amount of offset, to fight a slice and are intended to be 'point and shoot' clubs for mid and higher handicaps. They are also available in a full set version.
