Product details

The Daiwa Exceler LT Spinning Reel is designed to be light yet tough (LT). This reel is built with a carbon lite body. This composite material remains lightweight and does not corrode like metal. A 5 BB + 1 roller bearing configuration keeps the reel operating smoothly. Air Rotor technology better balances the rotor, while making it 15 percent lighter than other rotors. The gear ratio options are 5.2:1, 5.3:1, or 6.2:1. Conventional anglers would use this reel.

Key Features:

  • Minimal Start Up Inertia – The ATD drag system reduces start up inertia and has a maximum drag of 26.4.
  • Machine Cut Handle – The machine cut handle is slimmer and more compact while retaining strength.
  • Air Bail – A hollow tubular bail is lightweight but rigid, and aids in line management.

This is a great all around light weight spinning reel! The 2500 will provide ample line capacity and has a strong and super smooth drag to handle hard strikes from bass and other powerful fish. The carbon composite body is super light and very strong, making this a great reel for fishing with artificial lures and jigs. This reel offers great feel for detecting light strikes from crappie and other panfish. This Daiwa offers a lot of bang for the buck! Great for all panfish, trout, light to medium duty bass fishing. Excellent for casting artificial lures, baits, and jigs all day.

This is a great reel for bass or whatever else you are after in freshwater, plus it is durable and strong enough for saltwater fishing! This reel has a carbon drag system that maxes out at 22 lbs. of force and a spool capacity of up to 160 yards of 16 lb. monofilament. This combined with the 5.3:1 gear ratio and 5+1 ball bearing system gives you an incredibly smooth reel that is fantastic for landing some big fish! Oh yeah, and even with all this power, the reel only weighs 7.5 oz, so it won't wear you out during a long day of casting!!

A super smooth drag which will allow those bigger catfish to take line and wear themselves down if you happen to hook into one. A 2500D spool size allowing for 210 yards of 10 pound test makes sure you have more line than a fish could ever take before you could get it under control. Can handle baitfish like bluegill up to big catfish as long as you fight them properly

The minimalist engineering results in a smaller and more lightweight reel that is stronger than the competition due to carbon light material. The body of the exceler is compact with an upgraded digigear drive offering the perfect combination of functionality and toughness!!

HAs a extremely smooth 5+1 bearing system. Air rotor and bail to dispense the pressure over the bail to the whole part. Very strong reel with nice comfort and it maximize its performance.
