The Helly Hansen Elevation Infinity 2.0 Jacket is a waterproof breathable ski jacket for active skiers and snowboarders. Helly Hansen uses a LIFA face fabric with a LIFA membrane to create an environmentally responsible shell using hydrophobic fibers. With technical features like backpack-friendly pocket placements and a 2-way zipper that provides easy access to a climbing harness, the Elevation Infinity 2.0 can be worn at the resort or in the backcountry.

Cone of Shame Collar Demerits Perfect Ski Shell
Originally posted at www.hellyhansen.com on Feb 1, 2025It's very nearly a perfect jacket. The materials are amazing, it's ultra ultra waterproof and warm and breathable and all of that. It looks great, it's got great features and high quality craftsmanship. There are just TWO things that I have gripes about that many have also mentioned: The front pockets orientation and awkward placement with the flat horizontal zips with no place for putting your hands if you want to put them in your pockets - but this is a very minor one, because I only really use it to ski, and rarely need this - just that when I do go to use those front pockets 100% of the time it's awkward. The primary issue with this design is that the collar is insanely huge and unruly - it causes goggle fog because you can't get it out of the way without actually just unzipping it halfway down your chest, then it butterflies out because it's so stiff that it doesn't budge. It's awesome for blizzard chairlift days when your hood is up and you're all buttoned up, but the majority of the time it's just in the way and awkward and pretty frustrating. I still love my jacket though and am hoping that the collar will soften with some time, I have taken to folding it in half to get it out of the way for now sometimes, and that seems to show promise. . .

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski. Ultimately, I was uncomfortable making the investment without trying the skis first, so I ended up buying a pair that I had rented several times and really liked.
