Official manufacturer description

For over a decade now, the Cochise franchise has continuously raised the bar in the hybrid ski boot category. Bringing Tecnica’s proven fit-and-performance-above-all ethos to the walking world, the Cochise 120 has all the gas you would expect from a 4-buckle alpine boot stamped with the Tecnica T, combined with the versatility and walkability of a touring boot. The C.A.S. shell and liner provide for the best out-of-the-box fit and industry-leading customization capabilities for those whose feet might need a little more work. A reimagined T-Ride walk mechanism adapts the tried-and-true tech from our Zero G line to be more freeride-oriented for maximum downhill performance and exceptional walkability. Whether you’re slinging the sticks over your shoulder for a short boot up the ridge or setting out on an all-day mission, the Cochise 120 is the go-to boot for modern minded, advanced level freeride skiers who are looking for one boot to do it all in the resort and out in the backcountry.

The Tecnica Cochise 120 is an unbelievable boot for an advanced to expert skier who splits time between the resort and backcountry. This boot skis like an alpine boot on the downhill but allows for maximum comfort on the uphill.

Who is this product good for?
The Tecnica Cochise 120 DYN is an alpine touring boot for freeride skiers, hard-charging backcountry skiers, and anyone who wants a boot for both resort and touring use. Its 120 flex is ideal for heavier or more advanced skiers. Tecnica's anatomical shape and C.A.S. shell make the boot accommodating for most foot shapes and easy to work on if the fit isn't quite right.

For 2022, they built up the already incredible Downhill performance of the Cochise that actually boosted it's Uphill performance too. How did they do this? Taking some T.Ride technology which is injected carbon to build strength while shaving off grams. Mobility of 50 degrees, the Cochise will feel as if it's a snow boot while touring uphill. And as always, Tecnica included the C.A.S. for the Liner, Tongue, and Shell to make sure you get the best fit possible!

The Cochise are an aggressive boot made for advanced skiers that will drive a 120 flex rating. This is perfect for you! Tecnica makes some of the best boots on the market as they are always a step ahead with innovative materials and nuanced performance adjustments. The Cochise is an example of that thanks to their lightweight shell and carbon spine. This carbon spine provides a firm skeleton of rigid material to drive the power from your leg directly through the boot and into the binding and ski. These liners and shells are also fully customizable/moldable!

This is technically a hybrid boot - can be used for touring and resort skiing. You do not really need that....but it *should* be the best fitting boot.
