Product details

The Santa Ana 98 is the most popular of the Santa Ana lineup, and for good reason. The 98mm model is designed to be approachable for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for one ski to excel in any conditions. With a good amount of tip rocker and a small amount in the tail, this ski is as comfortable in soft snow as it is powering through variable conditions and hardpack. Key Features:

  • All-Mountain Rocker – With a significant amount of tip rocker, this ski is responsive and quick on edge yet provides float in deeper snow.
  • Energy TI Balsa Core – This ski is made up of a full wood core with a sheet of metal over the top to provide more strength and rigidity.
  • Carbon Reinforced Chassis – This new design feature from Nordica keeps the ski light by weighing about 35% less than traditional glass.

At 98mm underfoot the Santa Ana is a wider all-mountain ski that will rail groomers with unparalleled stability thanks to its wood/carbon/metalcore and camber underfoot. When the snow gets deep, have no fear, the tips will rise smoothly to the surface thanks to rocker in the tips. Need to shut down the speed? The rockered tails will help pivot the ski effortlessly. With a weight-conscious construction by placing carbon strategically throughout the lay-up, these skis will have your legs feeling fresh lap after lap.

This is a ski that's fun and confidence-inspiring while still being more well-rounded than last year's model. For those who want to explore all the terrain that their mountain has to offer, this is a great choice. This ski picks up speed quickly, gets on edge with minimal input, and is nimble and easy to trust. It has little to no chatter at speed even in variable conditions. This ski can make short and long turns with ease. Featuring a carbon core these skis are light enough for the uphill climb but will still charge with stability on pretty much any terrain.
