The Fischer Ranger 102fr is a great ski for someone who loves charging, but also skis playfully. They are a great carving ski for being over 100mm wide, and are stiff and heavy enough to blast through crud at the end of the day. The partial twin tip allows for switch riding and landings as long as the snow isn't too deep. This is a solid ski for someone who spends about equal time on and off piste; they will perform better than most skis on everything except hard, icy groomers and deep powder. The only time I didn't love this ski was in very hard early season moguls. I am 5'9" and skied these in the 184cm length, and they seemed a bit too long and stiff to really crush deep moguls.
