At 76mm underfoot, it's definitely at home on the groomers and hardpack, and likes to be firmly up on edge. The Deacon XT has a small amount of tip rocker, which combined with its wood core helps with easy turn initiation and a mellow ride.

- Center Sidewall — This construction features a partial sidewall in the center of the ski to assist in power transfer and control on edge.
- System Binding — This ski comes with pre-mounted plates allowing the toe and heel of the binding to simply slide on. This also allows for easy and fast adjustment to various boot sizes.

I was very nervous about buying my first pair of skis as they can be quite expensive and you want to get them right, however, as soon as I found curated and was paired with Hayden all the nervousness turned into pure excitement.
