- Volumizing Guyouts – NEMO designed the Hornet so that the inner tent can connect to the rain fly, effectively pulling the sidewalls outward to create additional internal volume.
- DAC Featherlite Poles – The Hornet’s poles are super light and connect together at one hub to make setup even faster and easier.
- Light Pockets™ – Overhead pockets with special light-diffusing fabric turn your headlamp into ambient overhead lighting.
- Divvy™ Sack – NEMO’s dual stuff sack allows you to easily split the tent between partners' packs.

At 2lb 6 oz packed weight for a 2-person tent this is about as ultralight as it gets! NEMO makes some incredibly solid gear that do a great job withstanding the elements. 85" x 51"/43" dimensions on this one so enough room for 1 person and plenty of extra gear or a 2-person endeavor with space in the vestibules for storage. 1-pole system makes it incredibly easy to set up and take down. The Nemo Hornet's rain fly is secure AND easy to attach. You can set this bad boy up in all conditions, including some less than ideal (think mountain lake at night in some nasty winds).

Lightweight and easy to pack. This packs down to a slender 19.5"x5.5", and it's trail weight is 1lb15oz. Very hard to beat anywhere on the market. Short of switching over to a bivy or tarp, it's hard to get any lighter than this. And it does not sacrifice strength and durability. Comparing it to it's ultralight counterpart, the Big Agnes Fly Creek, it is much tougher, stands up to wind better, and will have a longer life.

The Hornet being a 3 season tent allows for versatility along with the ultralight allowing for extensive backcountry trips. Combining durability, breathability, and extreme lightweight coming in at just under two pounds packaged weight, the Hornet provides good space and comfort!

This is definitely an ultralight tent, yet it can still hold 2 people, has good space inside, and it is durable enough to hold its own through most adventures. Lots of mesh allows for increased breathability as well.

One of the best two-person backpacking tents ever made (in my opinion). It's very lightweight (2lbs), easy to set up, and reliable. Side entry doors prevent you from climbing over your tent-mate when you need to go outside. The mesh at the top of the tent lets you ditch the rainfly when the weather is nice and stargaze with bug protection.
