The Atomic Hawx Prime and Atomic Hawx Ultra are different models of Atomic boots. These boots differ in their last and overall boot volume. Last is the term used to describe the shape of the inside of the boot and is categorized by width in millimeters (mm). Last for boot models is given for the reference size (US men's 8/8.5 which is 26.5 mondo and US women's 8/8.5 which is 25.5 mondo) A boot larger than the reference will have an incrementally wider last and a smaller boot will be narrower. The Atomic Hawx Ultra is a boot designed for a narrow and low volume foot. It is a 98mm last at the reference size. Low volume means a low instep and average to narrow calf.
