The Exped MegaMat 10 sleeping pad is fantastic for any car camper or festival-goer, but this is certainly not a sleeping pad to carry into the wilderness.

Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
Are exped mats worth it?
Exped mats such as the Megamat 10 can be pricey, but are they worth it? Whether or not the cost is worth it is personal, based on where your values lie. I've used the Megamat 10 extensively and think it's worth every penny. The comfort is unparalleled and it packs down reasonably small. It has dramatically improved my car camping experience. If you value comfort and plan on getting a lot of use out of it, Exped mats are worth every penny.

Peak comfort and self-inflating, comes with a pump to finish it off and one way valves. Just shy of four pounds so more packable and lighter than bulkier air mattresses.
