This helmet might be one of the best ski purchases I have ever made! I have skied 2 seasons and well over 100 days with this helmet and despite a few scratches here is in perfect condition. I originally bought this helmet because I wanted to upgrade to a helmet with MIPS for better protection against head related injuries but didn't want to break the bank. Most MIPS ski/snowboard helmets I found were $150 or more and this was one of the only options I could find under $100. With such a low price I wasn't expecting too much, but this helmet checked all of the boxes. It has proven to be very durable, comfortable, and has protected my head in more than couple incidents on the mountain. I really like that this helmet has a minimalist design and that the ear padding is easy to remove and put back in. There are fewer vents in this helmet than a lot of other helmets on the market but there is still plenty of ventilation.

I very much enjoyed working with Leo on my ski purchase. I had done some research on my own but had not settled on a particular ski. I came across Curated by accident and did not know I would be connected to a live person - and someone who is quite knowledgeable as well! I was super skeptical of this website at first I assumed the suggestions were just from an AI generated bot, but Leo is definitely a real human and a knowledgeable one at that! Frankie is A1, top notch and his ratings and reviews speaks for itself. I went to 3 different ski shops in my area and I was sized wrong, told certain brands were high quality when they weren’t, would have been paying to much and just put on a bad path overall. I’m glad I stumbled upon Curated. I threw so many questions at Frankie and he welcomed and answered them all. I needed a new board, boots and bindings and I got a great deal. I was very nervous about buying my first pair of skis as they can be quite expensive and you want to get them right, however, as soon as I found curated and was paired with Hayden all the nervousness turned into pure excitement. Hayden took the time to explain, answer questions, and pick the perfect curation for me. It made choosing skis a fun process rather than a stressful one.
