At 3.73lbs, it offers an impressive weight-to-volume ratio that doesnt sacrifice the durability and quality that Osprey is known for.

- NanoFly® – Osprey combined 210D nylon and a special polyethylene ripstop to create an abrasion-resistant fabric that is super lightweight.
- Removable Lid – Save even more weight on trips by removing the lid and covering the top of the pack with the included FlapJacket to protect gear.
- Add Volume Easily – The Ariel 65 has reinforced loops that allow for attaching an Alpine Pocket or Osprey Daylite® daypack for additional gear space, or an extra option for shorter day trips.
- Stow-on-the-Go™ – This trekking pole stow system provides a quick spot to put poles if they need to be stashed briefly when needing your hands free or on steeper terrain.

I love my new pack.
Originally posted at www.osprey.com on May 29, 2024I love my new pack. However, the first day(s) I was using it on the PCT it was digging into my hips. I seem to have semi-permanent red spots on my skin now.
And I really wish it had outside pockets! But besides that? Fabulous!!

Not right for me
Originally posted at www.osprey.com on Jun 11, 2023Not a fan. Feel like I can't fit all of my things into it. Especially for multi-day mountaineering expeditions. Would be great if there was a pocket in the front and 2 water bottle pockets. Pretty disappointed honestly
