The Osprey Ace 50 Backpack is designed for the kid backpacker. The backpack is set up to mimic those of larger sized models including ventilated Airspeed suspension™, a zippered sleeping bag compartment, removable sleeping pad straps, an internal reservoir sleeve, a stowable rain cover, and a multitude of easy-to-reach pockets. In addition, this bag will grow as the owner does as it allows for five inches of torso length (height) adjustability and three inches of adjustment through the Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt.
Key Features:
Adjustable Fit – With growing kids in mind, this bag adjusts by five inches in the torso and three inches around the hips with the Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt adjustment.
Airspeed™ Suspension – Suspension and support is provided from the tension built throughout the mesh back paneling. In addition, this keeps the bag off the back providing greater ventilation as well.
Backpacking Design – For a “youth” backpack, this has all the features of a high-end adult bag working well on long distance trails and weighing in at about 3.7 pounds.
