Product details
This Kemper Apex Snowboard is one of the original short and stubby snowboard designs that is making a major comeback in the snowboard world. Designed to be ridden slightly shorter than your traditional snowboard, this board offers extra agility. The board is a directional, all-mountain board for intermediate and advanced level snowboarders, that truly shines in powder. Key Features:
- Medium Stiff Flex 7/10 – This stiffness allows the board to bust through chop, and remain stable at speed.
- Early Rise Profile – Rocker in the nose allows this board to float effortlessly in powder while a flat profile through the tail makes for a playful surf-style ride.
- Sintered Base Material – This base material allows for optimal wax absorption, for a fast friction free ride in all snow conditions.

Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
Are Kemper Snowboards good?
Kemper Snowboards has been recently revived and I will answer all the questions about Kemper's revival and the quality of their snowboards.
In 2018, Jib Hunt, a former professional snowboarder, re-launched the Kemper Snowboards brand. The brand now has a headquarters near Park City, Utah and is making their snowboards in the GP87 factory in China. The GP87 factory is well known and has been making boards since 1987, as well as being owned by American riders. Kemper also has an industry leading 4 year limited warranty on their snowboards, while many brands have 3 or less years for their warranty.
In conclusion Kemper is a retro brand with retro graphics, but are making high quality snowboards with up to date materials, modern methods, and durable construction.
Where are Kemper Snowboards made?
Kemper Snowboards are made in Park City, Utah. The snowboard company started in David Kemper's (the founder) garage in Ontario, later moving to be produced in Montreal and then Austria. The snowboard company went out of business for a short period, but are now making a big comeback in the Wasatch mountain range.
Does Kemper still make snowboards?
After going out of business in the mid 90s, the Canadian snowboard brand Kemper is back producing high quality snowboards for all types of riders with retro eye-catching graphics. In 2018 Jib Hunt (professional snowboard) revitalized the brand and is now based out Heber City, Utah.

The best of both worlds with camber and rocker gives you the pop without sacrificing the float! This chubby stub of a board is meant to ride a little shorter than your normal size.
