The Monic Skyline Plus Fly Line is a Javelin taper floating fly line that fly fishers who seek an easy casting line would use. The Javelin Taper places more weight in the front of the shoot head enabling the line to load rods with less line out and to cut through wind easier. This aggressive head also turns larger streamers and poppers over more easily.
Key Features:
- Easy Connections – With welded loops on both ends, this line can easily be connected to backing and leaders with a loop-to-loop knot.
- Gel Spun Polyethylene Core – The zero-stretch GSP core generates quicker line speed for increased distance when casting and increases sensitivity at the tip.
- Half Size Above AFFTA Weights – To make loading of modern fast action fly rods easier, this line is sized a half above AFFTA standards.
