The Vans Hi-Standards are a very comfortable traditional lace boot. These boots feel more like a typical hiking boot than a snow sports boot. They have a very soft flex, resulting in ease of walking around a mountain town looking for some Apres or hiking the park to practice that front board until you have it locked down. These are also great to hike up the mountain in to catch that untouched fresh POW! Although these boots are extremely comfortable, they are not the most durable out there and have shown early signs of wear and tear, such as some torn seams and a worn-out liner. All in all, these boots are fantastic for a park rat or someone who wants their snowboard boots to be as comfortable as their hiking boots!
