The DPS Pagoda 112 RP turned out to be a more versatile ski then I thought. I was looking for a powder ski, and it was an amazing powder ski. This ski handled tight turns and groomers as well as it did powder. Tight turns in the trees and excellent edge hold on the groomers in the Northeast was as good as skis in the mid 90 mm width. The only time the DPS Pagoda would take a backseat to other skis was after a groomer left ice balls on the trails. The ski had quite a bit of chatter going over the ice balls.
Ideal for
- The flotation on this ski is amazing. Even in Vermont spring corn it just floated over the mush
- With a 15m turn radius it skied better on groomers than most 90mm skis.
- Tight turns in the trees, always felt in control.
Not ideal for
- At high speeds there will be some chatter
- Groomer ice balls made for less stability.

- The deeply rocker tips and tails make effortless turns
- The high quality construction sets a gold standard for durability both top and bottom of the ski
Not ideal for
- This ski is not designed to excel as a hard pack carver
- On harder packed snow, it's not going to feel as stable and damp as other options at high speed.
- This isn't an ideal option for a one ski quiver - versatility is limited to softer snow conditions

I very much enjoyed working with Leo on my ski purchase. I had done some research on my own but had not settled on a particular ski.
