The Yonex VCORE 100 is a power baseliner’s dream while still having enough maneuverability when moving forward to the net. Though it might be a bit overpowered for the most advanced players, it still would work well for aggressive intermediate to advanced players who want to make power and spin the center of their game. On groundstrokes, the easy power and big spin combine to let me hit really heavy balls that kept my opponents pinned behind the baseline. The 100sq in head size made it more forgiving than the VCORE 98, when hitting off center but the added power made it so that I sprayed the ball deep and wide more often when I was hitting aggressive approach shots. Despite a respectable swingweight, I found the VCORE 100 was pushed around when stretched wide and on hard reaction volleys. The VCORE 100 really helped my serve by adding extra pace and making my second serves harder to return thanks to even more spin than usual. All in all, the Yonex VCORE 100 is an extremely spin friendly racquet that has easy power and a comfortable feel that shines for intermediate to advanced players with a variety of playing styles
