Now Drive bindings are great
Originally posted at www.now-snowboarding.com on Mar 12, 2024I switched from a pair of burton cartel’s to the Now bindings for my Korua Transition finder because it’s a very a wide snowboard and with the cartels I was getting heel drag when carving. The now bindings have a better baseplate that allowed me to move the biding more toward the toe edge, so my foot is more centered on the board. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’m not a huge fan of the highback adjuster. It works fine, but my pants always get caught on it. Making it a little annoying every time I pull my back foot out to get back on the lift. Not a deal breaker by any means and I would highly recommend these bindings!

Originally posted at www.now-snowboarding.com on Mar 9, 2024I demo'd a Yes Typo the other day with Now Drive bindings on it, and a few days later went back and bought both. The board is phenomenal, and this is my first pair of Now bindings. I love them: they aren't so responsive that I can't just chill out and relax with them, but when I want to really dig in and carve, they're right there. I only have two days of riding on them, both short days, so I can't comment on the Skatetech yet, but whatever it's doing in the Drive, it works, and it works extremely well. I am used to having an adjustable footbed, but don't seem to notice the lack of one; these things handle great in crap VT spring conditions, so I can't wait to take them out next season when we've got real snow. 5 stars for sure!
