What is the difference between Berkley PowerBait and Berkley Gulp?
Powerbait is made with oil based resins. The more oil based resin added to the PVC, the softer the bait will be. Gulp is made using water based resins, thus the major difference in the two baits.

How do you rig Berkley PowerBait?
To rig a Berkley Power Bait, make it weedless, Texas style. Place the hook against the bait to get a sense for where the hook will end up. Then hook the head of the soft plastic, turn the hook and insert it into the belly with the hook point buried in the bait. To make sure you actually get the hook into the body of the lure, push the lure forward, move it up slightly, then slide it back over the hook point and pull the bait back. This will get the hook point and barb into the lure, which will keep it from sliding down the shank.
