Product details

With it's subtle action and bulky profile, Yamamoto's Zako Swimbait is a great lure, whether it's rigged on its own or used as a trailer. These are a great trailer on a chatterbait or a spinnerbait, for those times when a bulkier profile is needed without adding a lot of disruption. The forked tail of this plastic gently waves as it moves through the water, offering a more natural presentation than a paddle tail. The Zako Swimbait is also a good fit for a trailer on a swim jig as the slim tail swims cleanly through cover.

Key Features:

  • Natural Presentation – The slim, forked tail on this swimbait provides a natural swimming action.
  • Versatility – The Zako is great when rigged weedless, on a swim jig, or as a trailer on a chatterbait.
  • Bulky Profile – This soft plastic lure adds enough bulk to catch the attention of big fish without too much movement to spook them.

Yamamoto Zakos are great when used as a trailer on a moving bait or when rigged weedless. The tail features a very subtle action, making it perfect for adding bulk to a moving bait without adding much action. Placed on a chatterbait or spinnerbait, the Zako comes through cover easily because the tail of the lure is slimmer than that of a paddle or boot tail swimbait.
