Product details

The BLUE FOX Classic Vibrax is a traditional spinner that catches many different types of fish. The two part body is designed to emit low-frequency sound vibrations that attract fish, but do not cause line twist. This spinner runs from 2 feet to 6 feet in depth, depending on the rate of retrieval. The colored bell is accented with metallic flecks, and the blade is tipped in a matching color, and the blade back is finished with a transparent, fluorescent, coordinating color. Conventional anglers targeting trout, small mouth bass, and other game fish would benefit from the use of this spinner.

Key Features:

  • VMC Treble Hook – This hook will stay sharp and have the strength to battle big fish.
  • Multi Species – This spinner will catch multiple species and is effective in many different fishing conditions.
  • Bright UV Finishes – This spinner is painted in bright UV finishes that will help attract fish.

Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
How do you fish a blue fox vibrax?
To fish a blue fox vibrax get a proper swing. Start by positioning yourself slightly upstream of where you think the fish are holding. Cast the spinner across and a couple degrees downstream of where you’re standing. Allow it to sink near the bottom and then engage the reel. All you’re trying to do here is to get the blade spinning so that it has enough lift to stay out of the rocks. As the current sweeps the lure downstream, keep just enough tension on the line to keep the blade moving. As the spinner works through the run on an arc-shaped swing, follow your line with the rod tip. At the end of the swing, let the spinner hang straight below you for a few seconds before you reel back in and cast again.

How do you rig a vibrax spinner?
Vibrax Spinners are often rigged using a swivel between them and the leader. This allows the spinner to freely spin without adding twist to the line.

What is the extra hook for on a Blue Fox spinner?
The extra hook on a Blue Fox spinner is a single hook if the angler wishes to change the treble hook out. Often this is required by law.

These are fantastic lures for fishing in small creeks and streams where active predators like trout and smallmouth bass live. These can be fished around cover like partially submerged rocks for a great presentation that looks like natural bait in the water, or they can be run with a split-shot near the bottom. These are great at triggering aggressive strikes, even from the pickiest of trout.
