The Smith Squad goggle is the right goggle for any skier, snowboarder, or professional sledder. Comfortable fit on the face. XL lens to make sure you can see everything your need to see. The chromapop lens brightens the field of view even on those flat light days so you can see every bump, rock, and jump.

- Clear vision.
- Killer fit and style.
- Great color and anti-fog.
- Hard to switch lenses.

The Squad XL is Smith's largest cylindrical goggle. The massive cylindrical lens is made from molded carbonic-x material so it’s tough, but still has Fog-X technology and ChromaPop™ lens innovation for crystal clear vision. The oversized semi-rimless frame is matched with a new, larger strap; complete with fully integrated strap connection point that delivers the function you need without extra moving parts. Essential technology and maxed out size ideal for the best days of riding.

These goggles are great quality and super stylish. They come with two lenses for sunny and low-light days. They have great. anti-fog technology, I have yet to have an issue with them foging up. Smith suggests these goggles should be worn with a Smith helmet, however I have found they work with other helmet brands as well. They fit perfectly into my Giro and Poc helmet. Keep in mind these lenses can be a bit difficult to swap, especially when the plastic on the frame gets cold. If you want lenses that are easier to swap out I would suggest trying the Squad XL Mag, these have a magnetic lens.
- Large frame great for a wide field of view.
- Silicone strip on inside of goggles to ensure they do not slip off the helmet.
- Comes with 2 lenses for different conditions.
- Very large frame, not best for those with a small face.
- Lenses can be difficult to change

The Smith Squad XL goggles have been my choice for many years. These goggles have a variety of color and lens options to meet your needs. They also have a rubber strip on the inside of the strap which helps prevent slipping off the helmet. My major complaint with these goggles is the difficulty in swapping out lenses. Smith does make the same goggle with a magnetic lens. If you are someone who changes their lens frequently I would recommend these instead. The Squad XL also has anti fog technology. I have had no problems with fogging even on warm days. Smith claims these goggles work best with a Smith helmet, however I have found they also fit with many other brand helmets including Poc, Giro, and Pret.
- Large cylindrical shape for a great field of vision
- Durable, scratch resistant lenses
- Stylish and comfortable
- Difficulty changing lenses
- Large frame, not suitable for someone with a small face
