This driver is loaded with tech that makes it easy to hit a fade and launch the ball high. The carbon face produces extremely high ball speeds and doesn't feel exactly like titanium but it's pretty close. Personally, I love the sleek matte black look at address and you don't really notice the red face when the club is sitting at address. For me this driver draws a bit too much and spins a bit too high, but it's an ideal choice for players who need help hitting a draw or reducing a slice.
- Extremely long
- Extremely forgiving
- High launch
- Not good for players who like to fade the ball off the tee
- Not good for players needing to keep their spin down
The TaylorMade Stealth HD Driver is ideal for higher handicap golfers seeking a contemporary driver that both fights slice-spin while also optimizing forgiveness for reliably straight distance. The lightweight carbon material and design characteristics target strategic locations in the clubhead to enhance launch from low mishits and limit side spin for preferred shot shapes.
Key Features:
- 60X Carbon Twist Face – Sixty layers of carbon sheets on the clubface reduce weight and enhance the transfer of energy to the golf ball, accelerating ball speeds from an expansive hitting area.
- Nanotexture Cover – A polyurethane, nanotextured cover creates a face texture that optimizes spin and launch and delivers enhanced distance to any fairway.
- Draw-Biased Design – Built to produce straighter ball flights without sacrificing stability and MOI (Moment of Inertia), the draw-biased design minimizes slice-spin while maximizing forgiveness.
- Premium Sound – Stiffened internal ribs in the driver combine with specific curvatures and shaping to produce a sharp and powerful sound profile.
- Asymmetric Inertia Generator – Engineered to enhance aerodynamics right before impact and accelerate clubhead speeds while also maintaining stability, an asymmetric inertia generator construction ensures dependably deep ball flights across multiple impact points.

What does HD stand for on stealth driver?
The HD on the Stealth HD model stands for "high-draw". This is the highest launching model of the stealth driver line, and also has slight offset that provides a bias towards a draw ball flight. This HD model will be a good fit for people that tend to fade or slice the ball regularly. Someone who wants to move the ball right to left would fit well into this driver. In short, the HD stands for "high-draw" in the Taylormade Stealth HD driver.98%
