The stealth 2 hybrid just feels automatic. its Easy to swing, and pure a hit that absolutely jumps off the face. Combine that with its accuracy, feel and sound, and you have a match made in heaven. Its one of the best hybrids I have used.

Are hybrid and rescue the same?

In short, yes, a rescue is a hybrid. When Hybrids were first introduced to the market, TaylorMade introduced their first iteration of the club as the "Rescue". The Hybrid has since gained popularity due to their ease of use and for giving nature, so the term "hybrid" has been widely adopted by the industry while "rescue" remains specific to TaylorMade's version of the clubs. , Ever since it was invented, the hybrid has been called many names. There are several different names that hybrids go by including rescue. Now, some companies will use it in the actual clubs' model name. Therefore, the term "Rescue" can be mistaken for a model-specific name but it is not. If you see something labeled as a hybrid or rescue then you should check the loft. The loft is very important for hybrids. , Hybrid and Rescue, are two names for the same things. The hybrid is commonly referred to as a utility club or a rescue club, but these are both one in the same as a hybrid. A combination of an iron and a fairway wood, these clubs typically are shorter than the fairway woods but provide lofts that are closer to irons. These clubs are meant to launch the ball like a wood, but have control like an iron. To sum things up, hybrid and rescue clubs are essentially the same thing.

Honestly not a bad club here. rescues can be hit or miss, this is a hit, but has a better brother in the family of the plus option. Not super forgiving, but definitely gets the job done. I recommend to anyone who needs less forgiveness. Otherwise I would suggest to go with the plus. Perfect for higher skilled players

What was your favorite moment with this gear?

hitting my 3 hybrid 250 feels amazing. This is especially true when you are sitting on a terrible lie and all you have To do is swing, and the balls flys onto the green from 250 out. that was my first ever Eagle and it was done with the stealth 2 hybrid

Scarred Up Like a Bad Boxer

I bought a 5H Stealth Rescue in April 2023. It's now Nov 2023 and I've hit about 500 shots with it. James, earlier review, is 100% correct - the face of this club is very badly scarred and looks terrible. In August 2023, I bought a 3H Stealth Plus, with which I've also hit about 500 shots - not a mark on it. Still looks brand new.

I used it for the first time last Saturday and was immensely impressed over what I was using. I hit it further and it had a nice soft landing. It really help my round and score better. I didn't have to recommend them to anyone the club did all the talking with the performance on course. I am a 12 Handicap located in Des Moines, Iowa.
