Ideal for
- Perfect setup for someone wanting workability and precision in the scoring clubs, yet forgiveness in the longer irons.
- Super soft and buttery off the face, especially in the short irons.
- Very consistent distances and not ridiculously long.
Not ideal for
- These clubs are for better players who can consistently hit the sweet spot. I would recommend 5-6 handicap or below.
- Clubs are forged & faces are soft. They can ding easily. Will need to take care of them.
- Gapping may not work for everyone. May need to work or change them a bit.

The Mizuno Pro 223 iron is perfect for a low-handicap player looking for a high-level iron's feel. The smaller shape and forged head offers the consistency and feel of a blade but with a slightly larger size for added forgiveness. The irons also work perfectly in a combo set with the Mizuno Pro 221 or 225 irons.
