The Callaway Rogue Pro irons are a great iron for mid to low handicappers. The blade-shaped club head helps players make get creative with shot shapes and ball flights. Additionally, the head is a little thicker for game improvement benefits. This creates the perfect blend between a players iron and a game improvement iron.

This club head is great for the advanced player who is seeking forgiveness and shot shape control. The workability of these irons is outstanding. The distance control is equal to that of a solid forged club head. With the right shaft fitted for your swing characteristics you have a club that will last you years to come.

What is the difference between rogue and rogue Pro irons?
The Callaway Rogue ST Max and Rogue ST Pro are both great irons. The Rogue ST Max is larger and more forgiving and has more offset than the Rogue ST Pro which is designed more for the mid to low handicap player and has a smaller profile and less offset. It is still very forgiving thanks to its closed back cavity that is filled with different density materials to boost MOI and playability. The Rogue ST Max is a more traditional open back cavity. Both are great choices, the Rogue ST Max is the one to choose if forgiveness and distance is most important and the Pro model will be better for someone who wants all around performance in more of a better players package.Answered by:

High forgiveness (high confidence) blades.

They were the only clubs I could seem to hit well out of its cavity back brothers and many other brands and types of clubs. Despite their small sole and slightly thin top line (for a callaway iron) they produce tonnes of confidence for me standing over the ball.They do have some aspects that make them unforgiving, you can tell when you've hit a little too low or high, left or right on the face. But despite all of that you can just hit the ball and have a lot of assurance that it will go where you want it to.The only problem I ever had with the club was just how quickly the loft and lie changed on the club after a winter of using mats. I used an indoor range setup during 2022s winter. I always made sure to take care of the clubs but still when spring rolled around, my fitter told me the lofts had been messed up from hitting too much off of mats. It was surprising they had changed that much, but whatever I'll get them fixed and try to go easy on the clubs. But after only a month and some they needed to be bent back into place again. I don't know if this is a universal problem but it is a problem for me. I'm very OCD about how my clubs are looking and playing. That's the only complaint I can think of. Yea I totally recommend these clubs but if you also have this problem with the bending I would like to know

Sara recommended 3 choices for woods and irons. I settled on the TRS2 3W and TRS2 Hybrid with specific shafts she also recommended and the Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 grips I preferred. I selected the Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Pro Irons and got the 4-PW and added the G, L and S wedges with the shafts Sara recommended and the same grips I preferred. This combo is the best I have ever hit providing me with great satisfaction almost each time I hit the ball as I still, occasionally, hit a bad shot but that’s on me and not the club selection. Sara really was spot on with her selection of clubs for me and I also was recommended the Scotty Cameron Phantom putter which is the best putter I have ever had. Thanks again Sara! Really appreciate your knowledge and help!
