The Curated Take

The Callaway Rogue ST Pro irons are good for low to mid handicap golfers. These irons look like they would be a players type bladed iron that is meant for low handicap golfers, but they offer a great amount of forgiveness. The distance from these irons is quite astonishing as well.

The Callaway Rogue ST Pro iron is a great iron that is filled with new technology for the better player. The head is hollow and has a closed cavity that is strategically filled with high and low density materials to maximize MOI and forgiveness in a better players package. Clubs look very traditional in the bag and at address masking the technology inside. Not designed for the higher handicap player this is the perfect set for the low to mid handicapper wanting a club with tons of technology in a traditional looking iron.

Pros
  • Very playable better players club
  • Very long for better players club
  • Tons of technology in players package
Cons
  • Does not quite feel like a forged club
  • Not designed for the higher handicap player
Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
What is the difference between rogue and rogue Pro irons?
The Callaway Rogue ST Max and Rogue ST Pro are both great irons. The Rogue ST Max is larger and more forgiving and has more offset than the Rogue ST Pro which is designed more for the mid to low handicap player and has a smaller profile and less offset. It is still very forgiving thanks to its closed back cavity that is filled with different density materials to boost MOI and playability. The Rogue ST Max is a more traditional open back cavity. Both are great choices, the Rogue ST Max is the one to choose if forgiveness and distance is most important and the Pro model will be better for someone who wants all around performance in more of a better players package.
