Callaway Chrome soft is an incredibly capable golf ball. You won’t find a ball that spins more and responds to shaping and control shots around the green. A lot of golfers would benefit from what this ball has to offer, but given its premium price point I would point beginner and high handicap golfers in another direction.
Ideal for
- Great soft feel
- Best for players seeking more/visible spin with added alignment
- Excellent control around the greens and on full shots
Not ideal for
- Not the longest ball in Callaway’s lineup

Faulty Ball
Originally posted at www.callawaygolf.com on Dec 26, 2023Having used these balls for over 6 years I was surprised when I hit the virtually new with my 64 degree wedge and split in half. This is the first time this has happened to me using these balls. It wasn’t a miss hit shot, I was struck perfectly. This won’t put me off using the balls as I like the colours because they are easy to see and there flight is good for me. But a little surprised.

Great ball to play

Cant believe it is just a coincidence that i have hot the ball better during these rounds than i have all year. The Truvis yellow with black hex markings make the ball seem larger or just improves my focus. Played 36 holes with the same ball and it still looks brand new. Wish i had started to play these sooner!!!
