The Orvis® Mirage® LT Fly Reel is the perfect fly reel for both fresh and saltwater. Designed to be paired with lighter rods, this reel does everything the Mirage does. Zero start-up intertia and an incredibly smooth drag will help protect the finest tippet while fighting the biggest fish. Beginners to experts will enjoy this reel on their lighter rod setups. - Sealed Drag – A washer drag system that is sealed from the elements will allow the angler to stop big fish even in the most dirty and corrosive environments.
- Easy-to-Use Drag Adjust System – The drag is simple to adjust while fighting a fish. With a simple turn of the knob, tighten or loosen the drag while still concentrating on the fish.
- Large Arbor – By having a large arbor, line pick-up speed is increased, and the line will not develop memory from being coiled too tightly.

Mirage LT, A Crowd Favorite
Originally posted at www.orvis.com on Jul 28, 2024Paired the Mirage LT Reel with the new Helios 5 wt. for a great all around combo. Does everything it is supposed to do and then some. It has a smooth drag system and is a very durable reel that balances with the rod really well. If you have not casted this rod and reel set up, I would highly recommend stopping by a store and checking it out.
