The Thousand Chapter MIPS helmet is a premium commuter helmet for urban riders who want a helmet that looks casual but performs at a high level. - PopLock system to lock helmet along with bike
- Integrated light for safety
- MIPS system protects head in a crash
- Not as well-ventilated as a road-style helmet
Engineered for performance, the Chapter Collection integrates elevated utility into your daily riding uniform to always keep you moving forward.
Add an extra layer of protection with the integrated Mips safety system, designed to reduce the rotational motion of certain impacts that may otherwise be transferred to your head.
Multi-Use Magnetic Light
Ride smoothly from day to night with an included 30 lumen taillight that magnetically attaches to the helmet or multi-use adapter.
Reduce glare and increase your field of vision with visors in elevated finishes, including hand-painted tortoise shell, matte black, and metallic rose gold.
The most convenient and secure way to leave your helmet behind. Access the hidden channel behind the logo mark, and thread your U-lock or chain lock through. Backed by our Anti-Theft Guarantee.
8 strategically placed vents actively capture airflow and pass it through the interior cooling channels – developed to keep you cool on your long rides.
While I decided that I'm not a fan of the Thousand Chapter MIPS helmet, I can understand why it's a great fit for many people. It's a fantastic urban helmet than can take drops and bumps that I know my helmets always have to endure when getting packed around between errands. The MIPS layer is a technology I believe in and would only buy helmets with it at this point. What I didn't love about the helmet mostly is that it seemed to feel heavier on my head than a standard road helmet and the ventilation is something that I just simply can't live with. I'm a sweaty guy and I like to feel the wind on my head. So, because of that one thing, I just couldn't go with this helmet. Overall though, It's very well built and I can see the appeal.
- Incredibly durable urban helmet.
- Built-in visor.
- MIPS layer reduces rotational trauma
- Ventilation is very sparse compared to most of the road helmets that I am used to riding.
- Feels heavier on the head than many of the helmets I'm used to.
