The Wilson Tour Velocity Distance golf ball is made for one thing and one thing only, distance. From tee to green, this ball has low spin which gets more distance out of every shot. I found it very hard to hold greens on approach shots and was routinely overshooting them as well. Chip shots rolled out much more as well. If you’re someone who struggles with slices, this ball should help reduce some slicing by spinning less. The target audience for this ball are golfers who want a value ball that goes far. It’s not very durable and around the greens it’s best to play bump and run shots but that could help the user get lower scores in the long run. Overall, there’s not going to be a cheaper new golf ball than this, the performance other than distance reflects that, but it will get you out on the course.
