The Curated Take

I have loved using the Outdoor Research Helium Rain Jacket on my trips. I have used it for all of my backpacking trips this past year. The main thing that convinced me to use this jacket was how lightweight and packable it is. This makes it a great option for traveling, hiking, camping, etc. One thing about this jacket is that it is really meant to be a minimalist jacket. This means the jacket does not have some features that some people may be looking for. It does not have pockets on the front for your hands or to store small things. It does, however, have a small pocket on the chest that is a little too small for most phones so I don't use it too much. As far as waterproofness, I have not had any issues. So far from my experience, it takes quite a bit to wet this thing out. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightweight rain jacket that they can travel with.
