About me: I'm 6'0", 200lbs, size12 Burton Ion boot, mounted with Salomon Hologram bindings. I own the 163W, but I've also ridden the 159.
I've road this board in everything from hard pack at Mott's Canyon to 12" of powder at Bachelor. It floats extremely well in powder and the camber rocker profile give it a lot of pop as well... Read more
Ideal for
- Built to be a do it all board, but really excels in big mountain riding.
- Edge tech really helps the board have a quick heel to toe response as well as holding an edge
- The stiffer stiffness allows it to be stable at high speed and float really well in powder
Not ideal for
- Definitely is not designed for the casual rider. It's an aggressive and hard charging board.
- I'd like to see them make this is a 159W to appeal to appeal to a lighter rider with a bigger foot.

I very much enjoyed working with Leo on my ski purchase. I had done some research on my own but had not settled on a particular ski. I was super skeptical of this website at first I assumed the suggestions were just from an AI generated bot, but Leo is definitely a real human and a knowledgeable one at that! I went to 3 different ski shops in my area and I was sized wrong, told certain brands were high quality when they weren’t, would have been paying to much and just put on a bad path overall. I was very nervous about buying my first pair of skis as they can be quite expensive and you want to get them right, however, as soon as I found curated and was paired with Hayden all the nervousness turned into pure excitement.
