The K2 Mindbender 100's are a wonderful ski boot for someone who skis at a resort but is looking to start in the backcountry. The Mindbender will allow you to do both, without buying two different pairs of boots. This past season I skied over 50 days in these boots, hiked in them, toured in them, and never had any cracks, tears, or buckles break, they are super durable.
Ideal for
- Very affordable
- Due to the 100 Flex, walking/touring in these boots is a dream
- Super durable, hardly any wear & tear after a seasons use
Not ideal for
- These boots seemed to run a little on the large size, I had to downsize 1-1/2 sizes from my street size

This guy will answer as many questions as you can throw his way- even if you ask the same question 5 different ways. NEVER felt like he got annoyed with me. Josh helped me figure out exactly what it is that I needed. Ive been a skateboarder for 20+ years and he has helped me transition to snowboarding by guiding me into the direction that most fits a person with heavy skateboarding background. I am truly grateful for the time Daniela spent taking care of my many questions as I decided on equipment for skiing. There are so many measurements to deal with (Daniela mentioned ones I didn’t even know I needed to know) it was frustrating. She held my hand, and I’m confident I have something for my skill level.
