The Burton Moto bots are great for the beginner who wants to be able to progress. I wore these boots for 3 years when I first started doing real snowboarding out west. The reason I had to upgrade was that the responsiveness wasn't great. They are a very soft boot and I needed something that was more responsive for the type of riding that I do.
