The self - inflating Prolite Apex Sleeping Pad from Therm - A - Rest is designed for backpackers and campers looking for a warm, compact and lightweight sleeping pad for three season use. It packs down impressively small, weighs just over a pound and offers two inches of thickness for comfort in the backcountry.
Key Features:
- StrataCore - The ProLite Apexs construction touts the best warmth - to - weight ratio of any self - inflating sleeping pad. In order to achieve this, Therm - A - Rest designed it with a layer of foam through the entire pad that sits between ridges of foam and air.
- WingLock Valve - Therm - A - Rests valve design is easy to use, provides high flow rates for self inflation of the pad, and quickly lets air escape when its time to pack up.
- Self - Inflating - Thanks to the foam core that expands and helps the pad self - inflate, minimal top off breaths are needed to customize firmness.
