The Thermarest NeoAir Xlite sleeping pad comes in a size for everyone and is pretty comfortable compared to a lot of other pads. For 3 season backpackers this is the best pad for warmth to weight ratio. It will keep you warm down to freezing temperatures but will still breathe in the summertime.
Ideal for
- Super Lightweight
- Packs to almost nothing
- Lots of loft from the ground
Not ideal for
- The pad took a bit of getting used to, It is taller than most pads and I kept sliding off.

Leaky valve and sorta noisy
Posted on Dec 30, 2023If the valve wasn’t leaky it would be great. Ive used mine a handful of times and it has a slow air leak throughout the night and I wake up on a deflated pad. If it held air all night it would be a solid product

Posted on Dec 20, 2023Finally upgraded from an older neoair that was about 20 oz. This shaves about 8, shrinks the size by about 25%, and loses no comfort. The ease of inflation and deflation alone would have been worth the upgrade. Jury's still out on durability, its construction is noticeably lighter than the last one.
