The foam body of this fly keeps it riding high in the water and makes it ideal for fishing a dry dropper setup even with heavier weighted nymphs floating below it. This is a super caddis imitation that fish respond well to. This is a versatile fly that definitely deserves a spot in every trout box!

This Foam Caddis is our modern take on the popular Caddis Fly pattern. It can be hard to improve upon such a great pattern as the traditional caddis, but we do so with foam. It floats extremely well which makes a fly that requires little maintenance when fishing and allows you to catch fish after fish without having to continually dress the bugs. Worth having these filed into your box in a variety of sizes and colors for the summer dry fly fishing.

Rylyn found a sale for the Douglas Sky G rod and recommended it. He said that this was the best rod in the market and so I bought it. We paired it with monic Trout Master fly line. I was not disappointed at all! The rod feels intuitive and natural to cast. I could cast more accurately and a longer distance than I ever did with my previous rod.
