The Head Kore 103 W is built for advanced lady skiers who want a ski light enough to climb big backcountry mountains, while still being stout enough for high-speed skiing and technical lines. With a 103mm underfoot and decently stiff, the Kore 103 will float well in powder and has the edge to hold up to hard snow and even some icy runs. Great daily driver or touring ski for someone wanting a lightweight powder ski they can rely on.
Key Features:
- Carbon and Graphene – Head uses ultra-strong yet light materials to reinforce the wood cores in their Kore collection. The use of two full sheets of carbon and a full sheet of graphene helps keep the Kore 103 W strong and damp, while maintaining its lightweight design.
- Structured UHM C Base – Head makes the base of their free-ride Kore skis the same as they make the bases for their racing skis. This creates an ultra-smooth ride, and further increases control at high speeds.
- Karuba and Poplar Core – The use of Karuba and Poplar woods in the core of the skis helps keep them durable and strong, and helps add energy and responsiveness to the ski.

The width and rocker give you the floatation for the deepest powder days, but great edge control and a sidecut reminiscent of their narrower all-mountain relatives provide great edge control and versatility on the days when there isn't 12 inches of pow to slay. This ski is easy going and playful, but burly enough for experts to get a kick out of as well.
