The 2023 Ride Psychocandy Snowboard is an all-mountain board for women riders seeking a more narrow option than the Ride OG Pig. The Psychocandy has a tapered tip and cutout tail section for smoother turns in powder and more confident riding through slush and hard pack snow conditions.
Key Features:
- Directional Zero Camber – The board has a traditional zero camber shape with plenty of rocker through the tip for better float in deep pow.
- Women's Specific Wood Core – The lightweight Paulownia wood stringers combined with high-strength Aspen creates a light and powerful riding experience.

Marketing Fails This Board
Originally posted at ridesnowboards.com on Mar 13, 2024About 30 days in on the psychocandy and figured I’d leave a review. I typically don’t leave reviews but feel like this board deserves its flowers just as much as the pig series (maybe more)
Yes, it started as a Women’s deck but this thing absolutely kills all aspect of the mountain, including pow - this is also coming from a 200lb MALE that ditched the trusty warpig. If you live in an area that receives a fair amount of fresh snow, this will run circles around any pig. If I could do anything differently, I would probably size up to the 154 for deeper days but the 150 worked really well as an all around ripper.

He's extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of snowboarding (female/male gear, beginner/expert, mobility restrictions, etc.). He listened to all my concerns and questions and responded in a timely manner each time! He even checked up on me and asked to help me through the process of making a choice in gear. He never tried to up sell me or force me into something I didn't like/the more expensive or newer version. He only made recommendations based on my specific needs and wants. For which, I am extremely grateful. He was an absolute delight to chat with and discuss snowboarding (amongst other topics). I've never felt so confident in my snowboarding gear. I mean, have you heard of Vince. Cause if you haven’t then boy oh boy, you truly are missing out. This dude was by far the best curator/beautiful human I have ever encountered through my telephone screen. Words can’t describe the joy he brought me along with his amazing smile. I mean are we serious. Having this man answer questions behind a phone screen is a disservice to humanity. This guy needs a ginormous raise or a massive promotion to become the spokesperson for this company. I’d invite him to my wedding if I was to ever have one. Ben was incredible to work with in selecting my first pair of skis. He was able to not only demonstrate immense amounts of knowledge on skiing and Taylor fitting equipment to my particular level of keys, but was also extremely caring and patient with helping me feel reassured in picking the right key for me. You know when a ski isn’t quite right and one you used to have was perfect? Well, I used a lot of words that I’m not sure are used to describe skiing, and he completely understood me. The road led back to a brand I love and a ski that seemed to be the new and improved version of one that I lost years ago. Although I was ultimately ready to spend whatever it took to find the best ski, he worked with me for all ranges… full price and sales. I feel I was able to make an educated decision. His written description of the skis were all super helpful. I can’t wait to get these babies under foot.
