The classic e61 style group head has a slow buildup in pressure, mimicking "pre-infusion" which allows the espresso puck to saturate slowly to better minimize channeling. The Appartamento includes an articulated steam wand and hot water spout. The group head is heated to assist in consistent water temperatures.
