My tamper came included with the Flair Pro 2 system that I purchased but had it not, I would still have opted to purchase it seperately. I have worked with plastic tampers before and they are not worth the hassle and not as ergonomic. The quality of shot and extraction will have a noticeable increase.
Ideal for
- Perfect fit for the Flair Pro 2 that I use.
- Feels good in the hand and has nice weight to it.
- Fits the aesthetic of the rest of the Flair system
Not ideal for
- I would like to have the option for a wood handled version.

Matthew was so helpful. I had no idea how complicated shopping for an espresso machine would be, and before I knew it, I was in over my head.
