Best automatic manual espresso machine
Originally posted at www.breville.com on Sep 20, 2024After some research on espresso machines and following having owned two automatic espresso machines and one manual in the last 20 years I decided to splurge and get the Breville Oracle Touch. There is a lot of information on this machine on the web and lots of reviews. But what made it a great choice for me was the automated steps for grinding and brewing espresso that you actually manually control. The automatic frothing is absolutely fantastic. You still can do it yourself if you prefer. Having two boilers allows you to both brew and froth at the same time. Frankly I really like using it. You have to dial-in the machine to get that perfect espresso taste and this takes a bit of time. So many variables to tweak but in the end it is all worth it. I had another more manual setup (not breville) before, that made great espresso but I managed to greatly improve taste and texture with the oracle Touch. Some features like the temperature controls for brewing, the heated brewing head, multiple grinder ajustement settings, automatic tamping and automatic frothing with temperature control are really helpful to get the perfect tasting espresso. We love our coffee and this machine makes our morning that much more enjoyable.

Matthew was so helpful. I had no idea how complicated shopping for an espresso machine would be, and before I knew it, I was in over my head.
