This is a stellar setup for a great price. Perfect for anglers looking for a premium rod/reel combo from an industry leading rod and reel maker. The Foundation outfit includes the Sage 9' 8-weight Foundation rod, Spectrum C 7/8 reel, and WF8F Rio Gold line (a fantastic all-purpose line). The 9 foot 8 weight is a very versatile saltwater and big game rod and built with high-performance medium-action graphite blank comparable to higher-priced rods.
