This board was floated like a boat on the water! I think the larger nose and taper tail played a part but not as much as the fender tech which gives the board a spoon shape. I found that this board has a way of easily getting on top of the powder without leaning back or pulling your front foot... Read more
Ideal for
- Board holds an amazing edge on the icy steeps
- Floats like a boat in the deep powder
- Very stable at speed and offer tons of pop
Not ideal for
- It as a glossy top sheet prone to getting scratches.
- The directional shape along with the tapered tail makes is not ideal for riding switch.
- Aggressive board that needs focus when ripping to ensure control.

Towards the end of the 22/2023 season I purchased a Crosscut Camber 158. This board rips. Pow, ice, hard Pack groomers. I never felt an elevated of confidence with my riding. I highly recommend this board to anyone looking for a high performance, easy riding free ride / all mountain board.

I have been conversing with Ken for over a year he would curate me a set up and I’d just ghost him. Well today I finally made the purchase and I feel confident he helped me choose the correct set up for my specific needs, and challenges. Plus he always recommended cost effective choices without the helmet my set up would have been under $600 which is killer because I got suckered into a blemed demo board 2 yrs ago that I paid $550 for just the board.
