Great board
Originally posted at www.arborcollective.com on May 17, 2024I wasn't able to find anything on this board about spring riding conditions (corn, mashed potatoes). This board is amazing, turns are very easy to initate and it is a fun flowy board. The board tours amazingly paired with the karakorum nomad. The stability lacks when you crusin straight and fast, it's washy and squirrelly but I anticipated that buying this board and I didn't buy it for stability, I bought it for fun. My wndr alpine belle tour is extremely stable but doesn't match this satori in terms of turn Initation. This board also was fun on a slight slight crust ontop of corn. The top sheet has not given me any issues and seems more durable this some of their other line. The uprise fenders are pretty cool also. Overall we like this board and would recommend it, for size reference 5'9" 160 and I bought the 151 and i like it.

Soooooooooo good but...

Biggest complaint (and that's why the four stars) is I understand that it's a biodegradable materials for the topsheet and the sidewalls, but they're not the most durable. Two days out and the material dings too easy. Please reinforce it. Aside from that, it's my first Arbor board (a split at that) and I really really love this ride. I hope it becomes even better.

He took into account what I prioritized but also explained why a suggestion might be out of my initial request. For example, he got ahead of my question on why bindings are expensive and why it is important to not only focus on the skis but the bindings as well.

I have changed my boarding style, and a few years ago i bought a board that does not match my style or weight. I explained everything to Ryan and what I wanted to look to do. He listened and gave great advice and explained his DIRECT experience with some of the products, why he liked them, and why he liked them for me.
