The star of this boot is the side boa the only controls an internal ankle harness. After having this feature and wearing boots that are double boa without an ankle harness I will never buy a boot without a boa controlled internal harness. The other knob controls the font laces and can be used to adjust overall stiffness and secure fit. The liners are warm and comfortable for long days. The maysis is good stiffness for walking around while still stiff enough for performance riding or park laps. Those looking for pure performance resort riding with little walking should check out the holgate.
