Awesome all rounder
Originally posted at lineskis.com on Apr 14, 2024This review is for the 2023 line blend skis. Today is my first day on them, I found on sale at a local shop. I got the 171. While I normally ski a 163, this ski is perfect. I bought this ski for next year but wanted to see how it rides now. It is unbelievably flexy. I love this pattern. I have seen some reviews saying it is super unstable while charging, and I think that is somewhat valid. I used to race, so I know how to lay down an edge, and these did awesome. There is some chatter, but that is to be expected from a ski that is this playful. I was carving groomers at high speeds and they still felt relatively stable. Since its spring where I am, there is not much new snow. However we got an inch or snow and these did amazing ripping it up. Super light, so it was easy to slash and bounce. In the park, these shine. Super low swing weight. Great on rails. Took these on the jumps as well. I think, as long as you land well you will be find. Since it is a bigger ski for me it is a little harder to get the nose butters around but I think I will have no problem doing them after I grow a bit. In the end a really great ski.
