The Marker Kingpin is a wonderful option for someone who is looking to split their time between the backcountry and resort. The Kingpin is fully ISO/DIN certified binding and similar to the Salomon/Atomic Shift, but roughly 100 grams lighter. Similar to the Shift binding, the Kingpin wouldn't be the best option for someone strictly looking to tour.
